Everyone who knows the Ticino region will succumb to its magic. Every rock, every valley, every village cries out to be painted. I live and work in the
area above Lago Maggiore and find it breathtakingly beautiful. Sometimes I take photographs in order to capture images. Later I transpose them and build a string of associations.
The village of Arcegno is surrounded by wooded hills. My
studio is in the very heart of the village – an ideal spot. I designed it myself, down to the very last detail. Apart from a lot of space for my work, there is an area where I exhibit some of my paintings, a small office and a place where
I can rest and reflect. Large windows make for a lot of light, and this is complemented by an ingenious lighting system used on overcast days. I love working here, in this calm landscape with its beautiful climate, and I enjoy the comforts
of my studio.

Arcegno is near Ascona, a well-known tourist center, and the Lago Maggiore. My
door is always open to visitors who want to see my work. It makes me happy to know that people are interested in my creativity.
If you intend to visit me in Arcegno you just follow from Ascona or Locarno the road to ->Losone
-> Arcegno. There you find my atelier in the center of the village.
